Step 2: Rename your company files with .ND and .TLG extension

These files are files which contain configuration files by allowing QuickBooks Desktop to access company file in a network or multi user mode.   • Firstly, open the folder which contains your company file as its default location

  • Add the file name with ".old" after the file extension and click on enter.

Step 3: Instead of mapped drive usage of MNC path

  • Double-click on the QuickBooks icon on your desktop; continue pressing Ctrl key on your keyboard, and click on Run as Administrator.
  • Continue pressing the Ctrl key until and unless you have the No Company Open window.
  • In the File menu option, click on Open or Restore Company then select Open a company file then choose next.
  • On the left window, click on Network, and scroll to the location where your company file is available.
  • Click on the company file and choose Open.

Step 4: Organize firewall and security software

Step 5: Reconstruct your damaged folder

  • On your C: drive click on to create a new folder
  • Click on Open to open the folder where your company file is saved.
  • Search for .qbw file by adding it with file name.
  • Double-click on the .qbw file and choose Copy.
  • Click on Open the new folder, and then click on Paste file.
  • Confirm Windows access permissions so that company files can be shared.
  • Now, last step is to Open QuickBooks Desktop and
  • And now you can easily open the file from your new location.
