Download your Web Connect file directly from your bank, not within QuickBooks

  • You must first log in to the website of your bank
  • Search and download the Web Connect file (.qbo file)
  • Open QuickBooks and your company file.

Then you must follow the guidelines to import the .qbo file

Method 2: Verify the file from your bank

You must check the file you have downloaded from your bank is a file with .qbo extension because the file is of Web Connect which can read.

If you are having the different file, log in to website of your bank, you must download the .qbo file.

  • In QuickBooks, click on the Banking menu.
