  • Create New Company File
  • Update your company file
  • Search for the files with .ND extension with .qbw
  • Double click on .ND files
  • Choose Rename
  • Select company file and add .OLD extension
  • Copy your QuickBooks company file to some separate place
  • Copy .QBW file.
  • If same file is used in same computers, then set your permissions for folder
  • Create a new folder in QuickBooks Database Server Manager
  • Double click on the folder and choose Properties
  • In Properties click on Advanced in security tab option.
  • If you want to change folder permissions, follow these steps:
  • Continue holding Windows +E
  • Click on File Explorer
  • Move to folder and choose properties
  • Click on Apply to all folders
  • Select Ok
  • Click on Full control and select Apply
  • Select Ok
  • Verify whether your computer is running in safe mode
  • Make sure for “ All domains category”
